SCHOOL FOUNDER

Mr. Granville Jones, III, is a devout, passionate, and mission-focused Christian. He is a devoted husband and father of three. Mr. Jones is an experienced, knowledgable, and well-rounded school administrator, having served in multiple school settings and school leadership roles. He is an experienced, effective and visionary school leader with a growth mindset, having served as a school leader in both private and public school settings. He has over 20 years of experience in education as a school administrator, teacher, coach, and mentor. Mr. Jones earned his M.Ed. degree in School Administration & Supervision from Liberty University and his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, he has 10 years of previous experience as a Corporate Executive Officer (CEO).

Engaging & Holistic Education

  • Quality education that builds upon an emphasis on verbal arts in the Academy of Logic (6th-8th) and Academy of Rhetoric (9th-12th) phases
  • Great books, literature, and works that offer am extensive variety of cultural, ethnic, and social differences and similarities
  • Rigorous coursework, biblical studies, philosophy, critical thinking, reasoning, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and STEM curricula
  • Balanced growth spiritually, academically, socially, and culturally 
  • Rich programming options for the Arts (Art, Choir, Music, and Theatre) that inspire the creation of works that glorify and honor the Lord.


Diversity Goals & Student Activities

  • At least 50% of our scholars on academic tuition scholarship  
  • Student demographics from a ⅓ high, ⅓ middle and ⅓ low socioeconomic families mix  
  • Daily engaging spiritual development and weekly student chapel that features Christian Contemporary praise and worship, positive confessions, and messages geared toward salvation and spiritual growth.
  • Emphasis on creating diverse athletic, mentoring, intern, service, and student organization opportunities
  • School services that include before and after school care, peer mediation, and tutoring
